Melodyne uses and offline method allowing manual correction of each note. On the other hand, Melodyne records the audio into it’s software first. Additionally, if you have MuseScore or another music notation tool installed, it will launch automatically with the music sheet already loaded.īesides generating a music sheet, the software will also display musical notes directly on the loaded track's spectrogram. The user is then able to go through and manually correct each note and fine-tune any errors the software made. When the analysis is complete, the track's spectrogram will appear in the largest area of the interface.

Importing an audio file on AnthemScore's user interface is all you have to do. You should also know that AnthemScore comes bundled with MuseScore, which you will need if you don't have a music notation application installed. One of the main reasons I'm considering an upgrade to Melodyne 5 Editor is to have the polyphonic ability to convert audio files to Standard Midi Format files.

Fortunately, there are no advanced configurations to make along the way and you don't have to install any prerequisite tools or services.
